Widgets

Widgets are located under the appearance menu at left and allow you to deploy pieces of code that can perform specific functions.  They are intended to expand your theme’s functionality, and they tend to manifest themselves as “sidebars” on the right or left of your site.

When adding or editing Widgets you will see this screen (show below) that has the available widget list at center and the used widget list on the right.

Activating and using widgets is on a “Drag and drop” basis.
